Living in a dry climate doesn't mean your skin has to suffer. We offer skincare products that will luxuriously cleanse, hydrate, moisturize, and nourish your skin.

We use high quality, minimally processed ingredients that work. We avoid parabens, SLS, phthalates, and unnecessary fillers. 

It all started when our founder, Vina, went in search for the perfect lip balm ever since she encountered the dry climate in Tahoe. She was looking for one that was easy to glide on, kept lips moisturized for an extended time, and made with natural ingredients. Frustrated with the choices available in the market and being someone who needed to figure out how things are made, she began to study and experiment with formulating lip balms, focused on using natural oils and waxes. 

Diving into lip balm formulation made Vina more aware of ingredients used in other skin care products. At that time, there were a lot of scare mongering articles about "harmful" ingredients that were widely used and she wanted to avoid all that. She expanded her research into formulating facial serums and moisturizers using naturally derived ingredients and paraben free preservatives. Through the years, she has developed gentle face cleansers, brightening serums, anti-aging oils, rich creams & lotions, soap, and solid haircare products - a complete line of skincare products that would suit the needs of skin exposed to a dry climate. This formed the ethos of Quench Botanica.

Vina’s deep dive into lip balm formulation made her more aware of ingredients used in other skin care products. At the time, there were disturbing articles coming out about “harmful” ingredients that were widely used, and with two little kids, she wanted to avoid all that. So she expanded her research into formulating facial serums and moisturizers using naturally derived ingredients and less “harmful” preservatives. The word “Botanica” was added to the brand name to reflect the use of botanical ingredients. Through the years, she has developed gentle face cleansers, brightening serums, anti-aging oils, rich creams & lotions, soap, and solid haircare products – a complete line of skincare products that would suit the needs of skin exposed to a dry climate. This formed the ethos of Quench Botanica.

Vina and her family are now based in Truckee, CA and Quench Botanica continues to provide a range of healthy, tailored and effective skincare for mountain living.
